Im Kontext von cloud computing und big data erfährt diese Schnittstelle eine Transformation, die sich in eine Mediengeschichte einschreiben, die Informationsverhalten, technische Apparaturen und Konzeptionen von Information verknüpft. | de |

It can be conceptualized as a boundary object, rendering visible potentials and limits of technical solutions as well as notions of information and establishing a framework for scholarly information practices. In the age of big data and cloud computing this interface is undergoing a transformation which can be contextualized in a history of media linking information behavior, technical devices and concepts of information. | en |
