In this interview German Media Scholar Kittler talks about its concept of «Aufschreibesysteme», discourse networks, which he unfolded in the 1980s. The interview focuses on the dissociation Kittler′s from hermeneutics and the Francfort School and on, in contrast, the importance of Friedrich Nietzsche, Michel Foucault and Jacques Lacan as well as technics for his thinking.
