Abstract

In the first part of this treatise I sum up my 2017 essay »On Communication«. I simplify Georg Meggle’s version of communicative action and refer to Michael Tomasello’s concept of common ground. I can thus tell what is meant by using a picture to inform about true or fictional situations. The explication will be exemplified by a man helping his wife manoeuver her car into a parking space.
