dc.description.abstract“Fanficforum in Conference 2025” was held as an in-person as well as digital event on Jan. 24, 2025 at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. The participants presented their ongoing as well as their completed academic efforts on fan fiction and emphasized on the importance of fan fiction as a literary art form. The conference featured presentations in both English and German and included presentations by students and early career researchers alongside senior academic researchers in the field. The conference was organized by the Fanficforum Frankfurt, a student work group led by Patricia Heise and Nina Heise. The group facilitates and supports academic research on fan fiction.en
