At any particular moment, everything in this world can be subjected to certain constraining discourses. However, at the next moment it may objectify itself while gaining capabilities to rule over other discourses. In other words, power is both here and there, now and then. As Foucault puts it, power is a part of our experience; and that is why it is of particular interest for investigation.de
