Abstract

This essay looks at the history of editions of Wolf Wagner’s study guide «Uni-Angst und Uni-Bluff. Wie studieren und sich nicht verlieren» (University fears and bluffs: how to study and not lose yourself) covering the period from the early 1970s to the present. The author analyzes this history in the light of Wagner’s career and changes in the university and higher education. These considerations are linked with the socialization and career of the essay’s author in the academic field.
