Article: »Sexy Beine und Po Tag 1« Zum Design von Eigenkörpererfahrung in mHealth-Apps
Abstract
Designers create images, images create meanings. mHealth-apps collect and visualize information about the bodies of their users. Thereby, ›personal body experience‹ is designed. An analysis of the state of the art can show that num-bers and graphics are used for this. Their unambiguousness contradicts health concepts as individual and negotiable variables. By ›approximating‹ the visual-izations to pictorial representations, the generation of meaning could be re-turned to the users.
