| dc.description.abstract | Wahrnehmung ist keine passive Aufnahme von Sinnesreizen oder Informatio-nen, sondern die aktive Handlung eines Akteurs in einer Umgebung. Sinne und Gedächtnis wirken dabei stets zusammen. Wahrnehmung muss daher vom sensomotorischen Handeln des Akteurs aus verstanden werden. Der Text be-fasst sich mit multisensorischer Wahrnehmung und dem Zusammenwirken al-ler Sinne in einer verkörperten Handlung. Die multimodale Gedächtnistheorie von Johannes Engelkamp wird ebenso wie die Unterscheidung zwischen Si-mulation und Stimulation, die der chilenische Neurobiologe Francisco Varela getroffen hat, diskutiert. Die Spiegelneuronen bilden ein entscheidendes Scharnier für das Verstehen der multisensorischen Handlungen Anderer. | de |
| dc.description.abstract | Perception is not a passive reception of sensory stimuli or information, but the active action of an actor in an environment. Senses and memory always work together. Perception must therefore be understood by the sensorimotor activ-ity of the actor. The text deals with issues of multisensory perception and the interaction of the senses in an embodied action. Johannes Engelkamp's multi-modal memory theory is discussed, as is the distinction between simulation and stimulation made by the Chilean neurobiologist Francisco Varela. The mir-ror neurons form a crucial bridge for understanding the multisensory actions of others. | en |
