| dc.description.abstract | In early February 1979, Reinhard Wiener, a government secretary at the Ministry of the Interior in the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg, wrote a letter to the German Federal Archives regarding a private film, which he had shot during his time as a naval soldier in the Latvian coastal city of Liepaja (German: Libau), where he was stationed from 1941 to 1942 in an anti-aircraft unit as part of the German occupying forces. The film shows several executions of Jewish men in the Latvian city of Liepaja. | en |
