Article: Interview-Forschung trotz Eigenbild? Videotelefonie als Forschungsinstrument
Abstract
Research design, including any choice of technology, plays a significant role in the production of research data. Differences that arise when recording an in-terview via video telephony in contrast to a face-to-face conducted and rec-orded interview will be looked at more closely in this paper. Media structures of video telephony will be examined in relation to the gaze, the self-image and communication without physical presence, in order to pose questions for the evaluation of research data on this basis.
