Abstract

The text proposes the critical examination of everyday media practice, such as the system of order of relational media practice that has emerged since the 1960s, as a topic and part of theory-relevant media practice teaching. In the wake of techno-human shared co-operativity, the handling of media in everyday use, in the design of media and in media theory discourse is thus at the centre of the definition of mediality. Or, put differently, it is about a critical media practice of (everyday) media practice. Artistic research is presented as a method for this, which is specified as performed discourse analysis.
