Review: Fotofragmente: Frank Richters "I concrete myself in a oscillating world"
Abstract
"Today i live in a world, in which people more often travel without arriving, or arrive without traveling. So it is possible to see a space or a space structure that goes beyond imagination and reflection. The presented work makes the phenomena of living-space concrete." So lautet die Einleitung zu Richters "16 statements and 16 questions for you", seinem Beitrag zum InternetKunstPreises 2001 (Bericht auf dd) . Das Thema des Wettbewerbs lautete: "Wer bin ich heute? Was werden wir morgen tun?" Richter kleidet seine Antworten in Fotos, Flash, JavaScripts, dynamische Layers. Die Effekte sind beeindruckend, und wer dies nicht aus der Perspektive der technischen Umsetzung so empfindet, kann es vielleicht aus der Perspektive dekonstruktivistischer Fotofilosofie.
