Abstract
The article gives an overview on the usage of print and electronic media by Turkish migrants in Germany. It also gives insight to the reports made in these means of media with regard to Germany as well as a statistical analysis of the topics which were addressed in the Turkish media in a two month period in the year 2004. The contribution is enhanced with the results of a questionnaire undertaken by the Center for Studies on Turkey with regard to the usage of German and Turkish media in the Turkish Community. The text focuses on the questions of relation, media usage and (dis)integration. In general the information of media usage by the Turks and the Turkish media point towards the fact Turkish media is a complementary product rather than a competitive product to German media commodities.
