Article: Weimar 1928: Städtische Repräsentation im Bild
Abstract
What means ›Weimar Modernism‹ in architecture? The article examines the communal representation of urban development by a city view from 1928. With regard to architectural identity constructions, the analysis asks how urban planning is staged and legitimized in images. Which guiding principles are fol-lowed in the production of city images and which architectural heritage is uti-lized for the city marketing?
