Article: Landschaft als Topologie des Seins
Abstract
Our reality constitutes as being in pictures. Landscape is a product of aesthetic reflection and belongs to the perception of reality. Landscape is a virtual reality of first order. Mapping of landscape is a virtual reality of second order. A picture is a relational structure with a specific topology or coherent structure. A picture sets in relation. We are involved in the events of particular relations of pictures. For Heidegger, the ›Topology of Being‹ means naming the place as a relation of being. Under the aspect of the History of Philosophy three basic relations can be distinguished: the ontologic, the mentalistic and the linguistic (Schnädelbach). Currently, a shift of paradigm to an iconic basis relation seems to take place.
