Abstract
The symposium “The Oblique Angle / Camera. Forms and Functions of Unusual Camera Perspectives in Films and Television” was planned as an interdisciplinary meeting and gathered researchers especially from film-, media- and image science aiming at the collection, presentation and analysis of the use of the oblique angle in film and television. The symposium wanted to support the co-ordination of the diverse empirical as well as reflexive approaches.
