Article:
Embracing Complexity

Abstract

The complexity of our world is growing. Exponentially. All areas in which we act and live are increasingly interconnected – the economic, political and technological relationships are becoming ever more complex. The current problems of yesterday’s solutions show that acting in silos can have unforeseeable consequences in the long run. Whether current political events, processes in companies or scientific findings: To make better decisions, we need detailed information and its context. Linear thinking and linear methods of communication cannot do justice to this. That’s why Julia and her team developed the KontextMaps platform. With it, the overview and depth of a topic can be conveyed in an interactive knowledge map: for deeper understanding and discovery.
