Article: Faktizitäten – Einleitung in den Schwerpunkt
Abstract
Discourses of the political and science meet at the present in discussions about «fake news», «alternative facts», or «truthiness». They focus on the role of media in the production, distribution, and transformation of facts. This focus topic explores how medial practices, techniques, politics, and aesthetics produce, support, or undermine facticity and thus play a part in deciding what can be held as true.
