It is said that with Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin a regency of lies, the arbitrariness of postmodernism, and the relativism of constructivism have finally become a political agenda. But is this the case? This essay probes the patterns of scandalizing postmodern and constructivist thinking. It reveals that critics of postmodern and constructivist theories of cognition miscalculate the influence of epistemologies on the politics of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin because these critics are unable to free themselves from highly specialized academic problems. The hybrid propaganda and politics style of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin uses skepticism and the mistrust of truth merely as instruments to enforce their own interests and ideologies.
