Die Projektreihe nutzt dafür unterschiedliche, temporär leerstehende Gebäude in verschiedenen Städten als Klangräume. Das Klangmaterial das innerhalb einer akustischen Erforschung der Raumarchitektur gewonnen wird, wird anschließend als integraler Bestandteil von mehrkanaligen Klangkompositionen erfahrbar gemacht. So entsteht allmählich eine Werkreihe von Kompositionen mit und in diesen Gebäuden, die Erfahrungswerte sammelt und dokumentiert. Die Zentrale Idee der Produktionsreihe ist dabei die Auseinandersetzung mit dem vorgefundenen akustischen Material und die Herstellung von weiteren (inszenierten) Räumen. Der Artikel möchte die Arbeitsprinzipien der Gebäude-Klangkomposition erläutern und ihre Anwendung anhand der Produktionsbeschreibungen der Arbeit im Sommer 2012 in der alten Gerberei Murau verdeutlichen.This text deals with the artistic exploration of buildings and their spaces, which has taken place, within the project series {kA}: KEINE AHNUNG VON SCHWERKRAFT. For that the project series uses temporarily vacant buildings in various cities as sound spaces. The sound material, recovered within an acoustic exploration of space architecture, becomes an integral part of multi-channel sound composition experienced. In this way a series of works of compositions with and in these buildings arises, which collects and records the empirical data. The central idea of the production series is the examination of the encountered acoustic material and the production of other (staged) spaces.
