Plurale Bildformen, Serien, aber auch temporäre Konstellationen, wie sie für beispielsweise Kunstausstellungen typisch sind, rücken so verstärkt in den Fokus auch bildtheoretischer Reflektionen. Auf Grundlage der Diskurse um das ›Bild im Plural‹ wie um die ›Ikonischen Situationen‹ wird in dem Aufsatz der Frage nach der ›Umweltkorrespondenz‹ von Bildern nachgegangen. Beide An-sätze verweisen auf eine produktive Ergänzung durch einen phänomenologi-schen Bildbegriff im Kontext einer visuellen Syntagmatik. Die Frage nach dem singulären oder relationierten Bild lässt sich damit als performative und medi-ale Modalisierung der Bilderfahrung ausweisen.In recent times there has been an intensified interest concerning the questions of the relation between images in art history, -theory and -education. Plural images, image series as well as temporary constellation, e.g. in art exhibition are more and more subject of image science reflections. On the basis of the discourses of the ›Bild im Plural‹ and ›Ikonische Situationen‹ this article poses the question of the relations between images and their surroundings. Both dis-courses indicate a productive addition through a phenomenological concept of the image in context of a visual syntagmatic.
