In the first part of the article, we discuss the basic principles of collaborative audio-based storytelling and its application in different scenarios. In the second part of the article, we introduce a process for collecting, structuring, and linking audio clips and finally publishing the resulting audio-based stories in a web-based environment. We illustrate this process by describing a prototypical tool for collaborative audio-based storytelling.
