Stattdessen verändert dieser Medienumbruch auch die Verfahren des Produzierens in sehr tiefgreifender Weise – mit Auswirkungen auf die Ästhetik von Hörspielen gleichermaßen wie auf die Produktionskulturen im Tonstudio. Der Text geht dabei besonders darauf ein, wie der Wechsel analog/digital die Körper der Beteiligten betrifft, ihre Formen der Kommunikation und Interaktion verändert und die im Tonstudio herrschenden Machtverhältnisse verschiebt.Reproducing the genre of an “ethnographic vignette”, the text describes a technological turn in the production of radio dramas in the early 1990s, namely that of analogue production technology with tape machines to digital production technology with digital hard disk recording systems. It will become clear that this change is not only taking place at the level of a technical infrastructure that stays hidden ‘below the surface’. Instead, this media upheaval is, too, changing production processes in a very profound way – with effects on the aesthetics of radio plays as well as on production cultures in the recording studio.
