Abstract

Taking up the threads of their debate in Zeitschrift für Medienwissenschaft, No. 11, 2014, Andrea Seier and Stephan Trinkaus developed a dialogical statement out of their mail correspondence, intensifying especially the question of perspective: From which vantage point do we conceive of materiality and relationality? Is there an ‹outside› position, and how do ontological and epistemological thinkers, mainly Barad or Haraway, design objects and knowledge? They refer to Hui's statement, feminist philosophy, and the notion of diffraction.
